	Jim English EnglishComp Ltd.	Jim English is founder and CEO of EnglishComp, Ltd., a company specializing in FileMaker Pro solutions for advertising, publishing, prepress, post and creative industries. Prior to founding EnglishComp, Jim provided production services to New York's top advertising agencies, first as a musician, and later as a manager of recording, film, and video studios. While managing Atlantic Studios and Sony High Definition Studios, he began designing applications to track delivery of content and coordinate creative projects. In response to demand for custom programs he left management to concentrate full-time on software development. Jim frequently presents on behalf of FileMaker, Inc., at various advertising and media events, and EnglishComp products are included in the FileMaker Creative Suite. Jim did his undergraduate work at Washington & Lee University, and completed graduate level studies in communications and in information technology.
